Located in the East Village, this penthouse studio apartment required a complete re-design to take advantage of the large bay windows and corner unit offering views down Second Avenue. Throughout the design process, the gut renovation's overarching focus was to optimize the flow of space while capitalizing on the existing light and views.

Envisioned as a series of overlapping, programmed spaces whose boundaries shift naturally based on the current utilization, the studio provides a diversity of use-cases and maximizes the square footage.
