Studio PHH Architects is a Brooklyn-based design studio, led by Pierre-Henri Hoppenot, offering architecture, interior and furniture design services for residential and commercial clients across the country and internationally. The focus of the studio is to create highly crafted and site sensitive places through the thoughtful re-interpretation of our client's dreams and with an attention towards poetic experience, natural light as a primary material and a deep connection to place.

The ambition for each project conceived, designed, and produced is to create spatial experiences that inspire, calm and energize. A good space is one where people want to stay whether gathering together or meditating alone.

The core values that drive the work of the firm emerge from studio collaboration and a creative approach emphasizing the intrinsic relationship between architecture, landscape, interior and product design. The architecture produced is not shy but lives well in its surroundings through a deferential approach towards the site and a respect for local craft and materials and the culture of a place.

Throughout the process, we methodically investigate material potential and couple these findings with an exploration of the inherent dichotomies present within a project - this often produces unique yet utilitarian features which become a project's identifying feature.
