INNER PEAKS
Located in the NODA neighborhood of Charlotte, Inner Peaks’ third location retrofits a 1930’s manufacturing building. The design carefully integrates a fitness and climbing gym while allowing the patina of time and it’s manufacturing history to show through.
The proposed design leverages the history of graffiti artists in the industrial neighborhood of NODA to supplement the plywood millwork. These contrast the raw aesthetic quality that exists in the space while creating a brand identity for the gym. The master plan carefully positions the climbing walls to maximize natural light, and supports large workout areas, communal spaces and a yoga studio.
