HUDSON VALLEY HERBAL HEADQUARTERS
We were commissioned to provide Master Planning, Architecture & Landscape Design for a future Cannabis farm operation in upstate, NY. The goals are to provide a sustainably grown, local and natural product and to dovetail the project within the existing agricultural environment in which it lives.
Restoration of two old barns as a training and office space becomes a prime part of the project and the feature upon arrival. The 50,000 SF headhouse, 100,000 SF greenhouses and the large solar array are carefully oriented to maximize efficiency. A new North-South landscape allee re-orients the site and reduces the visual impact of these buildings from the road.
Our team goals of offsetting at lest 50% of the energy consumed by the farm with on-site renewables, and the careful restoration of natural flora are a central part of the master planning and landscape design efforts.
